Arctic Family Snowmobile Safari - Small Group Tour

A snowmobile family tour, where children get to drive their own mini snowmobiles. In the snowy forest trails next to Santa Claus Village, you and your family can explore the Lappish nature where the parents will have the possibility to drive their own snowmobile. The kids will be accompanying them on the sleigh, pulled by our experienced guides. 

After the ride, you get to enjoy a traditional Lappish BBQ and the kids will be driving their mini-snowmobiles, supervised by one of our guides. Our guides will light a bonfire, or teach you how to make one, so traditional Finnish sausages, “makkara” can be grilled. You and your kids will also be served with hot blueberry juice and marshmallows on the open fire.

What is included

  • Includes 10 laps on a mini snowmobile (only available for children aged above 4 years old)
  • Campfire BBQ : Pork sausage, marshmallow and hot blueberry juice (vegetarian/vegan alternative upon request)
  • Drivers must have valid driving licenses and be at least 18 years old.
  • Pick-up and drop-off are available from selected hotels within 10 km of the Rovaniemi city center.
    • Guests staying within a 5-minute walking distance will meet at the Nordic Unique Travels office.
    • Kindly make sure to provide the correct address exactly as shown on Google Maps.

Attention
  • Children under 3 year old are not recommended to attend this tour
  • At least 2 people are required for this tour to take place on weekdays and Saturdays
  • At least 4 people are required for this tour to take place on Sundays and public holidays
  • Twin driving means that the person has to share the snowmobile
  • If the child is 150 cm or taller, they can be seated on the snowmobile paying the adult's price
  • If the child is shorter than 150 cm, they must be seated in the sled pulled by the snowmobile, which is driven by our guide
  • Please be ready and wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time
