A Fun Ice Fishing Experience in Levi

Ice fishing is a famous local tradition in Lapland, and this fun, hands-on experience lets you try it for yourself. After a short transfer from Levi, your guide will show you how to drill through the thick lake ice and share tips for catching fish in Arctic conditions.

As you relax on the beautiful frozen lake, you’ll experience the peace and silence of the Lappish nature as you try your luck at catching fish beneath the surface. If you catch a decent-sized fish, we will grill it over a campfire! Don’t worry though, even if the fish aren’t biting we will still enjoy hot drinks and a tasty sweet snack by the cosy fire before returning to Levi.

This family-friendly ice fishing adventure includes all equipment, warm drinks, and return transfers from Levi.

If you have your own transport, please come directly to Wild Nordic Levi Safari Centre at Tunturitie 2, 99130. We are located downstairs of the petrol station.



Important information about your tour:

  • Meeting time: 20 minutes before the start of your safari. Please be on time, as refunds will not be issued for late arrivals or no shows.
  • Use of thermal clothing is included during the safari (thermal overall, boots, gloves, woollen socks).
  • Wild Nordic has 0 tolerance for alcohol and drugs during the activities.
  • Wild Nordic reserves the right to change the route and duration of all excursions due to the prevailing weather and snow conditions or in consideration of the safety and comfort of the participants. Wild Nordic reserves the right to discontinue the tour if a participant is seen as a potential danger to him/herself or to others or is in poor health. Pre-paid safaris will not be refunded in such cases.
